In a moment of calm in my heart, art took over and settled in my life.
The year was 2020 and until recently I wondered where this was stored, silent, hidden.
It runs in my blood and I didn't know it.
I wish they were with me today and illuminated my inspiration.
I am a professional scuba diving instructor, which doesn't make it seem strange

Inspiration has no scientific or logical explanation. I just know that it comes to me and it all starts with a sketch and my graphite pencils.
That is why you may find sketches in my gallery, as part of the creative process.
That drawing goes to a watercolor paper and the rest is technique, work, perseverance and desire to express myself with a brush.

My name is Claudia Pastorino. I was born in Argentina and come from a family of painters and artists: my paternal grandmother was a sculptor, illustrator, and painter; my maternal grandfather was a painter and musician.
Without knowing it, they both left a great legacy in my soul, although I myself was unaware of it for years.
Why watercolo

Why watercolor? Well... I love water, diving, the sea... Maybe that's why I feel so comfortable painting them in watercolor, or maybe... watercolor chose me.
My art is a reality.
